Well, we survived the Christmas season once again...actually it was very laid back for us. Karson was so excited about everything! I have to tell you all this funny story. He was opening a presend from grandma and grandpa Lindsay and it was the Fisher Price Pirate Ship. After he sees what it is he plainly says "I'm not a pirate fan." We all thought that it was very funny. What comes out of the mouth of babes! After it was opened he became a fan and loved playing with it.

He also received a Hawkeye football uniform and was insistant on wearing it to Hy-Vee. I replied by allowing him to wear the helmet and the jersey ( a little cold for the pants).

Kamryn was able to experience sledding for the first time a couple of days ago. I think she was in shock the entire time due to the fact that she didn't say a word the entire time. Karson of course loved it and couldn't do it enough times.

We wish you all a very Happy New Year!

A Lindsay family update...
We are all doing pretty well around here. WE are in great anticipation of Christmas! Karson just can't wait. A litte funny story for you. On Monday night I was preparing him for what Tuesday was going to bring (he is a planner and has to know what is going on at all times). I told him that he was going to go to school and have a birthday party for Jesus. Then he asked "Is Jesus going to be there?" I replied "Well yes, Karson Jesus will be there in our hearts and in our minds." Then he asked "When will he come through the door?" So I tried to explain the best that I could for a three year old. I just love their love for life and their innocence!
And Kamryn she is such a little sweety. She is really starting to talk with words like mama, dada, baby, ball, cracker, pretty. I had to laugh the other day as she was walking around the house holding her new shoes saying "pretty." Kam had her 1 year check up on Friday. She is definately our little peanut only weighing 18 lbs (7 %). Both kids had to get shots this time. It wasn't a pleasant experience for anyone!!!
I hope that this time brings you and your family much happiness as we wait for our Savior Jesus to be born this Christmas!
Have a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year

Karson and Kamryn enjoying the Christmas tree. Kam really likes to take off certain ornaments...it is pretty funny.

Karson making his gingerbread house.

Karson and Kamryn visiting with Santa at the Holiday Open House at their school. Kamryn didn't even cry (and by the way she is off and walking!).
