Here is a picture of Auggie without her shirt! They are telling me that her hair will grow back...poor thing.

Karson helping papa hook up his new trailor.

We visited my parents this past weekend. The kids and I left on Friday and Kamryn and I headed back home on Sunday. Karson is staying with Grammy and Papa for the week. They have the entire week planned. It will be fun for all of them to have that special time, however it is extremely weird not having Karson around. WE miss him. Kamryn keeps asking where Karson is at.
Here are some pictures of the weekend. Papa made Karson a trailor for his Hummer. It is awesome and Karson loves it! Thanks Papa for all of the hard work that you put into my special trailor (Karson).

The kids and I hit the strawberry patch this past week. We had terrific time. Karson lasted about 3 minutes before he was off and running with his friend Joesph. Kamryn also had a great time...however everytime I looked over she was eating a strawberry and believe me she had the evidence all over her!!

Karson during his 3 minutes of picking strawberries.

Like I said she had the evidence all over her! I can't wait to do these scrapbook pages.

Kamryn showing mommy the strawberry that she picked.

Kamryn smelling the flowers. I always love these moments.

Karson was playing around with an old pair of Kerry's glasses. I just thought he was so cute in this picture. "The human head weighs 8lbs." (Uncle Kane we thought you might enjoy that).

Summer has finally arrived here in Minnesota. We have long awaited this time. Kamryn and Karson loved being outside all day. What can I say I love my bathing beauties!!

I know that when you have an 18 month old in the house you are going to have many messes. Well, early last week I was in the kitchen not knowing that Kamryn had got into the pantry and took out some cereal. Pretty soon I hear Karson saying "mom, Kam made a big mess." And this is what I walked in to...an entire box of Trix spilled all over the floor. Good thing it was easy to clean up. You have to love those moments as a mom.

Karson enjoying his snowcone...what can I say we love summer!

All of us at Como Zoo. Karson had to have a snow cone and of course Kamryn was grabbing at it the entire time.

We enjoyed a day at Como Park Zoo in St. Paul a couple of weeks ago. It is a small zoo but both kids absolutly loved it! We had a great time. Karson enjoyed riding on daddy's shoulders.

Karson's preschool class went the farm for a field trip today. Kerry had to work so I decided to take Kamryn with and boy did she love it (you will be able to tell by the pictures posted below). We had a great time and there wasn't too much mud!

Karson, unlike Kamryn wasn't too sure about some of the animals on the farm. He kept his distance most of the time.

Kamryn also liking the goat. I would swear she could live on a farm.

Kamryn loving the kitty.

Kamryn loved the calves...what am I saying she loved everything.

Look at that mud puddle? Doesn't that look like fun? I can just hear them now!

Karson giving Kamryn a ride in his hummer. Kamryn like any child loves to be outside so she will stand at the back door and say "out, out" and then when we do go out she loves to ride in the hummer so she will say "ride, ride" until Karson (unwilling that is) gives her a ride. It is just too cute.

Kamryn going down the slide at Grandma and Grandpa Lindsay's house. She loves to climb on everything in site.

Happy 4th Birthday to Karson! Yes, I know it is past his birthday but boy does life get crazy. We are so proud of him. It seems as if I just brought him home from hospital yesterday. Does time fly or what!! Anyways, we had a great time with both sets of grandparents and cousin Avery.

SUGAR AND SPICE AND EVERYTHING NICE THAT IS WHAT LITTLE GIRLS ARE MADE OF.
This particular statment came true in my house yesterday. I was cooking in the kitchen and wasn't paying much attention to what Kamryn was doing (pretty obvious) and I turn around to see her looking like this. She got into the powdered sugar and had it everywhere. Granted it is my fault for not watching her closer and for putting the powdered sugar where she can reach it. Needless to say I ran to get the camera instead of cleaning her up. It was a priceless moment.

After noting that Kamryn had decided to eat powdered sugar I put her in the high chair with an apple without skin and she loved it. At first she was calling it a "nana" for banana so I told her no Kamryn it is an apple and she started calling it an awwah. The words are coming.
Karson is doing great! He is in swimming lessons every Saturday morning and seems to really enjoy it. We will be celebrating his 4th birthday this weekend. I can't believe he is going to be 4...I can remember bringing him home from the hospital like it was yesterday.
It should be a fun weekend.

We have been rockin out here in the Lindsay household. We have been attending dance parties in the kitchen. Well today the dance party turned into concert put on by the one and only Karson Lindsay. He really rocked out!

Karson rockin out.

Yes, I actually do have a child that climbs the walls! He was doing some of his latest dance moves.

Kamryn...the motorcycle mama!

Trouble #1 and trouble #2. I often wonder what we were thinking getting a puppy! Needless to say the Lindsay household has been a bit busy lately between a 31/2 year old with lots of built up energy,a 16 month old who climbs on everything and of course you have Auggie who likes to take tissues out of the garbage can and distroy them and then leave the remnents around the house!!! Can a mom get a break??? No really things are going very well around here. We are of course waiting eagerly for the grass to show again. Karson is very excited to play baseball once again this year.
We had his spring conference at school and he is doing well. He knows all of his letters and many of the sounds that go with the letters (they do visual phonics here in town and it works wonders). We do however have to work on sitting at group time and not being "too social" at times. He is definatly his dad's child!! I love the spirit that he has for life. I wish that everyone had the zeal for life that he possesses. Karson will be attending preschool once again next year, but for three days instead of two.
Kamryn is growing up way too fast. She is finally beginning to talk a little but she only does it when she wants to do it. Imagine that? She climbs on everything. Kerry and I keep saying that she will be the first one with a broken bone, not Karson.
Again, we can't wait for spring to come! It has been an extremely long winter without any warms breaks in there for us to play outside. We are looking forward to 40 degrees tomorrow...a trip to the park!!!
Have a blessed Easter.

Karson is absolutely loving Auggie right now...sometimes a little too much! Here is a picture to show that love!

I love this picture of Kam and her "wild hair".

Kerry and I just got back this past Saturday after a week long trip to Jamaica. We went with another couple and had a great time! We sat in the sun and had many beers and Jamaica smiles! We went snorkling, atving and took a trip on a booze cruise. It was a wonderful time and hard to come back to this awful winter weather, however we were very ready to get back to our children! Enjoy the pictures!

Posing for a picture as we are climbing Dunn's River Falls. It was a really great time!

Dinner at Kiminos (a japanese steak house). As you can see I got lot's of sun that day!

Swimming in the ocean. It was very warm water!

Riding ATV's with Andy and Amber! It was a muddy ride!

After riding ATV's to the top of the mountain.

The newest member of the Lindsay household!!! We would like to introduce all of you to our new puppy Auggie. She is a boxer who loves to chase Karson around the house. She also enjoys snuggling with mom or dad! It is hard to have a puppy in the house (just like having a new baby except a little harder) but I know that this time will soon pass. We absolutly love her!!!

We had a very sad day here at the Lindsay household yesterday. Our beloved dog Maya passed away. She had become sick the night before last (nothing serious)and yesterday she wouldn't eat her food so we knew something was wrong, but again we didn't think it was anything too serious. We left to go to the cities to get Kerry's car for work and we came home to find her at peace. Maya was the perfect dog! She loved the kids and her recent walks that Kerry would take her on. It is very quiet around here and Karson doesn't quiet understand. Last night he said to me that he was going to be lonely going to bed because Maya wasn't there to sleep with him (she always slept at the foot of his bed until she knew he was asleep and then she would come downstairs to be with us).
Maya was the perfect dog for 10 1/2 years!! We will deeply miss her. RIP Maya

Karson and his buddy Maya. He sure will miss her.

Well, we survived the Christmas season once again...actually it was very laid back for us. Karson was so excited about everything! I have to tell you all this funny story. He was opening a presend from grandma and grandpa Lindsay and it was the Fisher Price Pirate Ship. After he sees what it is he plainly says "I'm not a pirate fan." We all thought that it was very funny. What comes out of the mouth of babes! After it was opened he became a fan and loved playing with it.

He also received a Hawkeye football uniform and was insistant on wearing it to Hy-Vee. I replied by allowing him to wear the helmet and the jersey ( a little cold for the pants).

Kamryn was able to experience sledding for the first time a couple of days ago. I think she was in shock the entire time due to the fact that she didn't say a word the entire time. Karson of course loved it and couldn't do it enough times.

We wish you all a very Happy New Year!

A Lindsay family update...
We are all doing pretty well around here. WE are in great anticipation of Christmas! Karson just can't wait. A litte funny story for you. On Monday night I was preparing him for what Tuesday was going to bring (he is a planner and has to know what is going on at all times). I told him that he was going to go to school and have a birthday party for Jesus. Then he asked "Is Jesus going to be there?" I replied "Well yes, Karson Jesus will be there in our hearts and in our minds." Then he asked "When will he come through the door?" So I tried to explain the best that I could for a three year old. I just love their love for life and their innocence!
And Kamryn she is such a little sweety. She is really starting to talk with words like mama, dada, baby, ball, cracker, pretty. I had to laugh the other day as she was walking around the house holding her new shoes saying "pretty." Kam had her 1 year check up on Friday. She is definately our little peanut only weighing 18 lbs (7 %). Both kids had to get shots this time. It wasn't a pleasant experience for anyone!!!
I hope that this time brings you and your family much happiness as we wait for our Savior Jesus to be born this Christmas!
Have a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year

We had a big night Friday night...Kamryn took 3 steps on her own!!! Karson was in the tub and Kam was holding onto the edge, she turned around and took 3 steps toward me. I couldn't believe it! However she hasn't done it since which in a way is a good thing. I don't know if I am ready to chase after her yet.
